PASSION WITH A PURPOSE
Shoals Coffee Co. is founded on the premise of loving people through coffee, because we recognize the intrinsic value of both. We are dedicated to using our coffee to speak life and to better the lives of moms and babies. We do this locally by pouring all of the profits from sales into providing physical resources such as diapers and a wide variety of baby care items, maternity items, and limited medical services for expectant moms and also addressing the many other unique physical and spiritual needs that are present.
We take this passion to a world level by purchasing beans from women farmers in other countries who work hard to produce a quality product to sell so that they can meet the needs of their families. We are excited to use coffee to extend a helping hand to moms and babies everywhere!

The Shoals is a true representation of history and beauty at it's finest. People come from near and far to ride the waves of the Tennessee River, visit the homes of historical figures such as Helen Keller and General Joe Wheeler, to enjoy the musical roots of W.C. Handy through the food and concerts during the week long Handy Festival, and to grab a cool selfie in front of landmark recording sites where some of the greats like Aretha Franklin and Little Richard made their mark in the music industry.

OUR COFFEE
UNCOMMON COFFEE GOODNESS
Our coffee is as diverse in origin and as unique in flavor as the individuals who grow and drink it. Each bean gets it’s uncommon flavor from the region where it is grown, the farmers--including some women owned farms--who diligently grow and harvest their crops, and the careful attention given to processing and selecting the perfect beans for purchase. Our meticulous roasting process, which is carefully crafted to draw out the fullness and flavor of the beans creates the unique taste that makes it our own. We currently offer five beans and one espresso blend. Four of the beans are assigned to represent one of the four major cities that makes up "The Shoals": Florence, Sheffield, Tuscumbia and Muscle Shoals. The fifth bean is packaged under the title "Baby Beans" to promote the concept of our support of mothers and babies.
